Ares

Ares's ideal home

Ares is an amazing boy that loves spending time with his favourite people and will make a wonderful addition to his furever home! He loves playing with his toys, especially if they are big and squeaky, and you can often spot him carrying them around. Plus splashing in paddling pools and puddles is sooo much fun for him! He can be a sensitive sausage and will need his new guardians to go at his pace and give him plenty of time to settle and find his paws. He is very affectionate when he's met you a couple of times and enjoys a snuggle in between play. He will need to be the only dog at home but is working on meeting dogs out and about. He needs minimal visitors, but is crate trained and will happily spend time in his crate with some nice things to chew, and would prefer access to quieter walking areas as busy places sometimes overwhelm him. Ares has lived in a home before and was housetrained, he was also good to be left alone for a few hours, though he may need a little refresher. He can get in the car but isn't too used to traveling at the moment so this will need building up in his new home to make it a positive experience for him. Ares will need his adopters to visit him a few times before he goes home so he can build a positive relationship with you and show off all the things he is learning (and have lots of treats of course!). Ares will need access to his own secure garden so he can zoom around and play with his favourite toys!

Ares loves his food and will do anything for a tasty treat! He can be strong on the lead so will need owners who are able to manage him. He is learning to loose lead walk during his daily walks. He is looking for owners who will continue his on going training, he has so much potential and will flourish in his new home.

We have sought expert advice and we do not believe that Ares would be considered an American Bully XL type.
