Max
Max's ideal home
Max is looking for an active home with adopters that can keep up with his energy levels and give him a life of love and adventure! Max would be best suited to a calm home environment with a family that have experience of owning a dog previously. He would be best suited as the only pet in his home and any children in the home would need to be aged 16 years and over and confident around bigger breed dogs as he can be a bit bouncy when he gets excited and doesn’t always keep all four paws on the floor! Max has a little bit of basic training but adopters should be prepared to expand on this when he goes home and although he tries his best to be clean in his kennel, he may need a bit of work on his housetraining. He will need access to his own secure and private garden for housetraining and to potter and play in. Max is still quite a young boy so he would prefer to have his humans at home with him for the majority of the time. Once settled he can be introduced slowly to being left alone for short periods of time, increasing gradually over time. Our team can give lots of support and advice for how to achieve this successfully once he goes home. Max will need to meet her adopters multiple times to build a strong bond prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. If you rent your property, please have written permission from your landlord ready once you have submitted your application to avoid delays, as it will be required early on in the rehoming process if you are shortlisted.
Could you be Max's perfect match?
Max is a gorgeous, energetic and loving 2 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross with a heart as big as his head! He is a real ‘people dog’ and is so friendly with everyone he meets that sometimes he forgets he is not a little lap dog! He is full of beans and loves to be on the go, whether that’s going for a big outdoor adventure, playing a fun game of fetch or learning new things with his handlers. He always gives everything 110% and engages really well when he is interacting with his handlers. A clever young lad, he has so much potential to learn. He loves tasty treats, toys and fusses, which will all be great ways to reward him in training! He will be an amazing companion who will live his life to please his family and be the best friend anyone could ask for.
