TYSON
Meet Tyson a 4 year old staffy who is looking for a stable home that can offer him security and routine, and lots of love.
Tyson was unsure upon arrival but has since begun to settle, showing us his friendly and energetic side. He enjoys being stroked and playing with his toys but can become overexcited. He loves to go for a walk, and walks nicely on his lead, and enjoys having his head down and sniffing along the route but sometimes looks back for reassurance.
He knows his name and basic commands such as sit. We recommend new owners engage in positive reward based training which will help build a bond between.
Tyson is currently still toilet training, he is clean in his kennel overnight and throughout the day, and we are conscious to toilet him throughout the day as often as possible.
Tyson is visibly uncomfortable (lip licking, side eye) when being handled by the vet and/or being handled or placed in certain situations. We are looking for someone who is able to read his body language and anticipate his needs in order to keep things relaxed and positive.
When passing other dogs Tyson has either shown little interest or reacted to that dog, depending on how the other dog has presented to him.
Tyson is best suited to a pet free household with children over 16+.
