Description

Bonnie's ideal home

Bonnie is a wonderful 8 month old Labrador cross Staff who has stolen the hearts of everyone she's met here! Bonnie is however, a worried girl and needs reassurance in new environments and meeting new people but quickly comes around and loves to play and jump, so we are teaching her all about our 'four paws on the ground' training! Bonnie mixes well with other dogs and would be happy to have a confident dog in her new home to show her the ropes and that she doesn't need to be so worried! However, she can get frustrated out and about when she sees other dogs as she wants to say hello!

Could you be Bonnie's perfect match?

Bonnie could live with sensible children aged 10+ who understand that she can be worried and give her space, she can also get over excited and so they would need to understand how to manage this and consistency would be needed with her training. Bonnie could also live with another confident dog given a successful meet! Bonnie has previously lived with cats but they grew up together and we don't know if this would automatically mean that she could live with another but we are considering this as a possibility in the right home.

Staffie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
