Description

Christy's ideal home

Meet Christy, a 2 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Crossbreed looking for his forever home. He would love a family who want to get stuck into training, including engage-disengage with dogs at a distance. He would like to be the only pet in the home as he can find dog interactions stressful. Christy loves being around people and can become a bit worried when being left. Therefore, he would like his family to be around for most of the time as he settles in, this can then be built up over time. Christy can live with secondary school aged children in the home. Christy would prefer a quieter area to live in, with a secure and private garden to enjoy off lead time with his favourite people. Ideally, he would like no neighbouring dogs. He is a wonderfully clever boy with so much love to give, he just needs someone to take the time to build and bond and fall in love with him.

Could you be Christy's perfect match?

Charismatic Christy is a wonderful boy who loves to be with people. He will come over for fuss and attention and tell you when he wants more. He loves going out on explorative walks and adventures with his favourite people. Christy likes playing chase with a ball but will often choose to sit and play with it rather than bringing it back! He is a clever boy and knows his name, sit, wait, down and has good recall. He also has been positively muzzle trained and looks super handsome in it. Christy is a wonderful boy who will make a fantastic addition to his forever home.

Staffie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
