Description

Rolo's ideal home

Handsome Rolo is a 1yr old Staffy Crossbreed who has had quite a rough start to his short life. He arrived with us with with a broken leg but following surgery he's now all healed up and ready to make a new start. He will need and adult only home where he'll be the only pet as his training is still ongoing and too many distractions will make it more difficult for him to settle. He'll need a secure garden to burn off energy and finish his housetraining. His adopters must understand that due to his previous injury he won't be a dog who can go for long walking adventures and will keep him busy in other fun ways like training. He does enjoy gentle walks though and our team will suggest the best activities for him. * SCROLL THROUGH ROLO'S PICS TO SEE A VIDEO OF HIM IN ACTION! *

Could you be Rolo's perfect match?

Thankfully we were able fix Rolo's leg but his recovery period has left him with an abundance of energy that he sometimes doesn't know what to do with. His training has come along brilliantly and we're so happy he's now ready to find his forever home. He is a fun and energetic dog who LOVES people and enjoys meeting other dogs out and about, but his social skills can be a bit much for some! He's also shown himself to be rather clever so ongoing training will be lots of fun with him! We have sought expert advice and we do not believe that Rolo would be considered an American Bully XL type.

Staffie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
