Description

Ares's ideal home

8 year old Ares is on the search for his forever home with adopters who can show him all the love he deserves. As Ares can be worried by noise, he would like a family who can understand his worries and continue training to help this and take things at his own pace. He can be worried when meeting new people in inside spaces, therefore he would like a family that can continue his intro plan and introduce any visitors outside of the home. Due to his worries, he is also looking for an adult only home. Ares is happy to have calm walking friends but would like to be the only pet in the home. He would like a private and secure garden to enjoy with his family. Ares’ adopters will receive a vet call from our team upon a booking. Ares is currently living at another location in South Oxfordshire, potential adopters will need to be willing to travel to said location to meet him multiple times before going home. All details will be provided upon booking.

Could you be Ares's perfect match?

Adorable Ares is a sweet older boy who loves attention and fuss from his favourite people. He loves cuddles on his own terms and will lean into you for more. Ares really enjoys water and will happily jump in to paddle and splash around in puddles. He really loves playing with toys, the soft ones are his favourite but he does like to have space when playing with them. Ares knows a few of his basics, including his name, sit, paw, wait and ‘get your toy’. He is a wonderful boy who brings lots of joy to his handlers and he is sure to make a great companion in his forever home.

Staffie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
