Finley's ideal home

Meet Finley, an energetic and affectionate young dog who loves to play and go on adventures. He’s looking for an active home where he can enjoy fun walks, plenty of toys, and lots of cuddles. Finley would do best with dog-savvy children aged 12 and over, and as the only pet, as he can be ‘overly enthusiastic’ at times, especially when playing. Finley loves toys, especially tug-of-war, and enjoys independent play. He’s a good boy on walks but can pull when excited. Though he’s still learning doggy manners, he’s confident and enjoys both urban walks and safe off-lead time. He’s house-trained and used to being left for a couple of hours.

Finley prefers eating from enrichment toys or as treats on walks, and he enjoys watching birds, although he may try to chase them. While he’s not a fan of long car journeys due to travel sickness, he settles well once in the car. Finley is an active, playful companion who will thrive in a home with lots of attention, exercise, and love.

Staffie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
