Description

Dora's ideal home

Dora is a scrumptious 4yr old Staffy who loves people. She's fun and friendly and would suit most homes. She was found as a stray and was very underweight so is quite obsessed with food. Her adopters will need to be vigilant around leaving anything within her reach! She'll be fine with confident kids who are comfortable around bouncy, playful dogs. She will need a secure garden to help her tighten up he house training and play off-lead, which she loves to do. She cannot be left alone yet though so she must have someone around all the time during her settling in period and very slowly build up and time on her own once she's fully settled.

Could you be Dora's perfect match?

We all love Dora to bits! She's been through a tough time but has bounced back and proved to be a fun little dog. She is super friendly and wants to say hello to any potential new friends, human or dog but can often forget to keep her paws on the floor. She could potentially share her home with another playful doggy friend pending them getting along. She will benefit from a little basic training, but being very foody this will be easy as she seems very eager to please. Dora is showing all the signs of blossoming into a great family pet and just needs a little time spending on her initially.

Staffie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
