Description

Dexter's ideal home

Meet Dexter and Olive, a pair of loveable, easy-going 14-year-old littermates looking for their forever home together. These two have spent every moment of their lives side by side, and they’re eager to continue their journey as a pair. Not only are they siblings, but they’re also the best of friends, and they thrive in each other’s company. Dexter and Olive are both calm, affectionate, and well-mannered. They are in search of a peaceful home where they can enjoy their golden years surrounded by comfort and love. Although they’ve always lived together, they’ve never shared their space with other dogs, so they would prefer to be the only pets in the household. However, they’re friendly with other dogs during walks and enjoy socialising in a relaxed setting. These sweet Staffies would do best in a home with older children, ideally those of secondary-school age or older, who can respect their laid-back nature. Dexter and Olive are housetrained, though they may need a little help adjusting to a new routine in their new home.

Could you be Dexter's perfect match?

Dexter and Olive are both incredibly affectionate and love to snuggle up next to you on the sofa. They’re true couch potatoes at heart, enjoying quiet moments of rest and relaxation with their human companions. However, they still love their daily walks, especially when it’s peaceful and calm, away from busy roads. A quiet stroll, full of sniffing and exploring, is the perfect way for them to spend time outdoors. Dexter and Olive are also big foodies! They eagerly anticipate mealtime, though it’s best to feed them separately since Olive tends to finish her food much faster than Dexter and might try to steal his! This adorable duo has captured the hearts of everyone who has spent time with them, and they are sure to bring joy to any home lucky enough to welcome them.

Staffie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
