Hugo's ideal home

Meet Hugo, he is a gorgeous 5 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier looking for his forever home. Hugo is unable to live with another dog in the home as he can find it worrying being up close to another dog, so his new family will need to help him gain confidence around others. He has previously lived with cats and has the potential to in this new home, though slow introductions will be needed to ensure a good relationship between both Hugo and the cat/s. Hugo can live with children 8+ years old, as long as they are comfortable with sometimes boisterous dogs as he does like to jump up when meeting new people, just to make sure he gets all of the attention. He is housetrained and can be left alone for a couple of hours in the home, especially if the radio is left on for him.

Hugo's favourite things are cuddles with his people, walks and food. He is an extremely loving boy who deserves to be treated like a king. He is looking for a new family to help in gain confidence in interacting with other dogs, and give him lots of love and attention. Hugo will make a wonderful addition to his new, forever home.

Staffie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
