Description

Jackie's ideal home

Jackie is looking for a calm and quiet home with minimal visitors, she is looking for adopters who are home all of the time, and will give her all the love and care she deserves, an active family who can take her on new adventures. She can live with children aged 16 years and over who can read when she is uncomfortable and give her space when she needs it. Jackie can be uncomfortable around other dogs, so is looking to be the only pet in the home, although she would benefit from calm and polite walking buddies to help her build confidence around other dogs. Jackie has quite a bit of training under her belt, she does a lovely “sit”, “paw” and “touch, she would benefit from loose lead walking training as she is strong on the lead. She is very willing to learn new things if a tasty treat is on offer, she is currently doing very well with her muzzle training as she will need to wear a muzzle during vet visits. She will need housetraining so a private, secure garden with 6ft fencing is essential. Jackie is very worried being left alone, so is looking for an adopter who is home the majority of the time and can keep her company and make her feel safe, with the potential to build up leaving after she has settled in. Jackie will need to meet her adopters multiple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 – 10 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Could you be Jackie's perfect match?

Lovely and energetic girl Jackie is a 1 and a half year old Staffy cross who loves to be out in nature, exploring and sniffing her surroundings. She is playful and full of positive vibes, she absolutely adores her toy, she specifically enjoys squeaky balls and rope toys, she is happy to play independently or with her human buddies. Jackie likes a fuss, especially a chin and cheek scratch, she can get a little over excited during fuss time and get a bit jumpy. This gorgeous girly is looking for her new home.

Staffie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
