Eeyore's ideal home

Eeyore is a two-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier looking for a loving home with adult adopters. He is looking for a home where he can be the only pet . Eeyore would benefit from quieter walks initially whilst he practices his doggy social skills and builds confidence. He has met a few dogs at the centre and once he knows them, he enjoys their company. Eeyore could cope with a reasonably busy home environment. He arrived into our care as a stray and may need reminding with his housetraining using positive reward training. Time left alone is best built up gradually once he has settled into his new home.

Eeyore is a sweet boy who adores human interaction. He lacks some confidence when meeting new people, but when he knows you, he is always excited to see you and adores a fuss and affection. Eeyore loves his walks and has been enjoying exploring our woodland. He likes food enrichment puzzles and loves treats. He can be worried by new indoor places; he is building confidence every day, reassurance and treats help him. Potential adopters will need to be patient and understanding. It is best to take things slow and build his world up gradually. He is a blank canvas with his basic training. Eeyore is a fun-loving, bouncy lad, he loves to play with toys. He enjoys a game of ball and likes tug games.
