Thunder's ideal home

Thunder is a bright and bouncy 1½-year-old Staffy who is ready to take on the world! This lively lady has not had the best start in life, so she is looking for an active and loving home that will include her in their adventures. She would love a private, secure garden where she can zoom around and play to her heart’s content, she can jump impressively high, so fencing will need to be at least 5ft. Thunder needs to be the only dog in the home, but she is happy to have doggy friends out and about. She can get frustrated on lead so is looking for patient owners who can continue her socialisation. She is best suited to a family with children aged 12+ who can handle her enthusiastic jumping up while she continues her training.

Thunder thrives on positive training, and her new family should be keen to work with her to develop her social skills and focus in new environments. She already knows some basics like sit, touch, and paw, but she will benefit from ongoing training to help her channel her energy in the right way. If you are looking for an affectionate, playful, and clever companion to keep you on your toes, Thunder could be the one for you!

She adores butt scratches and will happily nudge in for more attention once she knows you.

Thunder travels well but needs a little encouragement to get into a crate in the car, though she has no problem hopping into the back seat! She can be left alone for a couple of hours once settled in her new home, but she will love being part of the family and involved in all the fun. Staffie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
