Description

Eric's ideal home

Eric has been a pleasure to look after since coming into our care, this gentle older man is looking for a forever retirement home where he can get all the fuss, love and attention he needs! He's come into our care as he was struggling with being left home alone. He loves the company of people and dogs and can struggle when left with out this. He would love a home where he doesn't have to be left or work make a great office companion to keep you company. Eric was previously housetrained but may need a little refresher once settled back into home life. Eric has been very friendly with other dogs here and we think he could happily live with another calm dog in his new home, he also has history of living with cats. Eric is the friendliest boy and is always happy to greet everyone. He could live with children of any age following a meeting here at the centre.

Could you be Eric's perfect match?

Eric is a truly wonderful boy who just loves to be with his favourite people and best doggy friends. His perfect home would be one where he isn't left home alone and he can enjoy his gentle walkies and cuddles on the sofa.

Staffie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
