Description

Mona's ideal home

Mona is on the search for a loving family that can give her lots of love and company. Although a little pocket rocket, she can be quite clumsy and can jump up when she is excitable, so children in the home should be 14 years or older. Mona is unsuitable to live with cats and small furries. Despite this, she would thrive going on walks with some relaxed canine companions that she can make friends with, and potentially share her home with a calm dog that would enjoy some play and can tolerate her excitable personality. Mona struggles with being left alone, so needs adopters that are home for the majority of the day and can work on building this up gradually with her. She is a real foodie, and loves all kinds of tasty treats, which will help her with her training, which she is super eager to engage in. Mona will need to meet her adopters a couple of times to build a bond prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes between 7 - 10 days.

Could you be Mona's perfect match?

Meet Mona, our adorable pocket rocket! She is a 4 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who despite her hard start, is ready for happier new beginnings with a loving family. When she builds a relationship with you, which doesn’t take long, she acts as your shadow and enjoys non stop cuddles. Mona absolutely adores toys, and will play excitably with any toy given to her. She does tend to get a little mouthy but this is out of pure joy and excitement!

Buying Checklist

Staffie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
