Dave

Sadberge, Co Durham1 week

Description

Dave's ideal home

Dave is looking for a home with a family who are ready for lots of fun! He’s a bouncy lad so will need positive outlets and further training to keep him physically and mentally active and happy. Dave will need someone at home majority of the day to keep him company and put training in place. Dave is sensitive to noise especially traffic so will need a little work in this area too. A home environment that isn’t surrounded with heavy traffic will be the best set up for him to settle in and show off his amazing personality. Access to more peaceful walking areas will be great too so he can explore at ease. Dave is a bit full on with his play with some dogs, but he can live with another pending a successful introduction. If any kids in the home, they should be aged 10yrs or over.

Could you be Dave's perfect match?

Dave is quickly stealing the hearts of his carers here and it won’t be long before he has yours too! He’s so much fun to be around and is guaranteed to make you laugh with his fun personality. He enjoys a game of rag but is much more interested in sniffing out treats, so watch those kitchen counters! Enrichment games, those that involve food especially will be a great way to keep him entertained.

Staffie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.

View the full Staffie buyers checklist for more information, plus the buyers guide for more advice on giving a puppy a new home.
