Can someone help Tommy find a new home. He needs a home without other furry friends. Disability has prevented us from looking after him. He loves attention. He is empathetic and loving.
He's just learning to drop his toy to play catch.
He will respond to a clicker for a treat but that's as far as the training has got. He knows basic commands.
We are not his first owners. He had a rough start because he has some small scars on his front legs. When stress or confused he will chase his tail and growl and bark at it. He is no danger to people if interrupted. The vet and a behavioural specialist have said it's in his head from past trauma. So it's just a case of continuing to train it out of him. He's on dry food and is not keen on hard treats. Anything soft he loves and have started training ' paw ' so he lifts his leg a little but not yet fully giving.
He's ideally would live with no other dogs or cats. He's normally good but he can be nervous about other animals. We want him to go to a nice home.
